What activities will my camper be doing?

All campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities involving gymnastics and ninja stations throughout our two buildings as well as outside (weather permitting). Coaches will lead each group through rotations of stations carefully planned to keep your child active and involved all day. Camp is fast paced, action packed, and FUNtastic! Watch our schedule for Theme Weeks that add extra fun to camp!

What should my camper bring?

Accepted Answer

Lunch and Water Bottle Swim suit, sunscreen and towel (summer camp only) Vending machine $$ Extra set of clothes (just in case) Fridays are Pizza Day, no lunch is needed! *NO electronic devices are permitted (including watch phones, cell phones & handheld games)

Question 3

My camper is 5, should I enroll them in Pre Camp or Big Camp?"

Accepted Answer

Our goal is for each camper to have the most fun and successful day of camp each day they participate. Our facilities and activities are structured accordingly. Pre Camp is specifically planned with Pre K campers in mind! If your child is in Pre K, they're going to love Pre Camp! Big Camp is recommended for children who are CURRENTLY enrolled in or have completed Kindergarten. Only the Camp Coordinator can approve a Pre Camper to move to Big Camp.

What should my camper wear?

Accepted Answer

Big Camp: Comfortable clothing, athletic clothing. Slip on shoes. Pre Camp: Pre campers should come with swimsuit on under their comfortable clothing and sunscreen applied. Slip on shoes.   LABEL EVERYTHING!

Question 5

How do we handle children with allergies?

Accepted Answer

When you register for camp, please be sure to indicate specific allergies - especially food or environmental allergies. When you check your child into camp for the day, please mention your child's allergies to our staff and your camper will be given a red allergy band with their specific allergy written on the band. If you need to leave emergency meds, please bring the medication into the office, LABELED with your child's name on it. We are NOT a peanut free facility, however, we will have a lunch and snack table specified to be peanut free. We will also make sure children with peanut allergies will get to sit with a friend that has a peanut free lunch!

What if my camper is ill or our plans change?

Accepted Answer

There are no credits or refunds for unused or cancelled days of camp. If your plans change, we try to assist you by allowing you to change camp days for a fee (per day changed) as long as space is available and it is within summer camp. We can not guarantee that space will be available and quite often, it is not. Advanced notice is required to transfer days. If your child is sick and cannot attend camp, you may reschedule with a doctors note.

Question 7

Can my camper be grouped with their friend or sibling?

Accepted Answer

Campers are assigned to groups by age and gender at the beginning of each camp day and will remain with this group throughout the day. If you have any questions about this policy, please ask to speak to the director of the day during sign-in on your scheduled day.

Let It Shine offers a variety of flexible care from a 1/2 for little ones, a full day when school is out, and special Saturday nights for PNO. Reservations are required. Login to your parent portal to register!

This facility is not required to be licensed by the state as a child care facility.
