2025 Holiday Make-Up Policy

Key Details for Making the Most of Your Winter Classes:

To ensure this special make-up policy works smoothly and effectively for all our athletes and families, we kindly request your cooperation with the following guidelines:

• Notify Us of Absences in Advance: If your child will be absent from their regular class, please inform us as soon as possible. You can do this easily by either calling our front desk or logging into your online account and marking your child as absent prior to their scheduled class time. This crucial step allows us to open up that spot for another athlete who needs to schedule a make-up class, ensuring that our gym remains vibrant and active.

• Reservations are Required for Make-Up Classes: To secure a spot in a make-up class for November or December, a reservation is absolutely essential. Please call us directly at 615-369-3547 to schedule your make-up class. This helps us manage class sizes and ensures a quality experience for all participants.

• Make-Up Class Completion Deadline: All make-up classes accumulated during November and December must be completed by January 31, 2026. Please plan accordingly to utilize these opportunities before the deadline.

• Return to Standard Policy: Please note that our regular "no make-up class" policy will resume on February 1, 2026. This special extended make-up period is exclusively for absences occurring in November and December of 2025.

Standard Class Make-Up Policy

Let It Shine does not offer make-up opportunities for missed classes. Let It Shine will continue to provide Make-up classes when training is missed due to the business being closed.  We encourage our athletes to attend their scheduled training time when possible, and appreciate your understanding. Thank you for choosing Let It Shine and entrusting us with your child's athletic experience.

Class Cancellation Policy

Request to drop your class must be made with written notification via email to info@lisgym.com or by drop form delivered to our office. Requests via phone or through your coach will NOT be honored.   Your child will remain enrolled in class and you will continue to be charged for that class until you provide WRITTEN NOTIFICATION.  We do not prorate, credit or refund for classes not attended.

I understand that a 30-day written notice is required to terminate billing and I am responsible for payment whether or not my student attends classes until I notify this facility in writing to drop my student from class(es).

Dress Code Policy

Let It Shine’s dress code is set up with your child’s safety in mind. As a family organization, we encourage an appearance that is not disruptive, distracting, or offensive.

Gym Attire

• Girls should wear leotards or athletic clothing

• Boys should wear shorts and a tucked-T-shirt

• Gymnasts and campers must have midriffs covered at all times.

• Bras covered, no two-piece outfits, no cropped shirts

• Refrain from baggy clothing (interferes with spotting)

• No jewelry, jeans, jackets, watches

• Hair should be pulled back away from the face

• Bare feet, no socks

• *Athletic shoes for the Ninjastics Program & Cheer shoes for Tumble Program

• There are cubbies where shoes, socks, jackets, etc. can be kept during class. 

Injury Policy

If your child experiences an injury or medical issue that will prevent them from attending classes for a period of time, please notify us as soon as possible. We can only put your account on "injury hold" if we have the proper documentation in a timely manner.

To be eligible for an injury hold, a doctor's note must be turned in at time of diagnosed injury to hold your spot in class and pause your payments. The account hold will be based on the restriction time frame specified in the doctor's note. The doctor's note must specify a time frame.

No credit will be issued on missed classes due to injury, prior to receiving proper medical documentation. Additional documentation will be required if your child will need to be out longer than the original doctor's note stated..

Class Trial Policy

A trial class is $20. Each student can attend one trial class per program based upon availability. 

Please contact the office, 615-369-3547 after creating your Let It Shine family account to speak with us further about setting up a trial class.  

Trial classes will be set up in our Beginner level classes.  Your child also has the option to be evaluated by a coach to be placed in the correct class.

Summer Make-Up Policy

Let It Shine offers summer session make-up classes for students that have scheduled their absence at least 24 hours in advance. Simply call our office or submit the absence 24 hours in advance through the parent portal to receive your make-up token in your account.

Our Summer make-up policy is for the months of June and July only Make-ups are based upon availability and are not guaranteed. All Summer make-ups must be completed within the summer session.

Lost & Found

Let It Shine Gymnastics is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

A great deal of water bottles, Jewelry, shoes,  towels, lunch boxes,  shirts, swim suits and more get left behind daily. Due to the sheer volume of items that get left behind, we will donate all items left behind at the end of the week.  Please make sure your child comes home with everything they bring and check the lost and found frequently.

There are lost and found buckets in each gym.

PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING. 

Camp Cancellation Policy

There are NO CREDITS or REFUNDS for cancelled or unused camp days.

 Camp Change Policy

Rescheduling camp days within the same camp are allowed with a camp change fee.  Changes cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability. 

> Day Change Fee with at least 24 hour notice - $5.00 per day per child.

​

> Same Day Change Fee - $10.00

Same-Day Registration Policy

When space permits, we allow same-day enrollment. Members & Non-members will be charged a $10 same-day registration fee for camp days, PM extended care, parents' night out, and little shiners days.  This fee will also apply to registration requests made after office hours prior to the registered day.
