Coach Chris started gymnastics at Let it Shine when he was just three years old. He competed with the Boys Gymnastics team until age 14 when he transitioned over to the Power Tumbling and Trampoline Team. He held multiple State, Regional, and National Trampoline & Tumbling titles from 2000-2008. Coach Chris was a two time National Gold Medalist (2003 Gold in Power Tumbling and 2004 Gold in Double Mini) and also a National Silver Medalist in Power Tumbling in 2008. Coach Chris also had the honor of competing all over the world on the USA National Team in 2007.

Coach Chris graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Sciences from Texas Tech University in 2009. He started coaching in 2000 with Let It Shine Gymnastics, then coached through college in Texas. Chris returned to Let It Shine as the director of the Trampoline and Tumbling Recreational Program in 2017.

Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, managing his farm in Columbia and spending time with his wife and son.
