Let It Shine offers Franklin and the whole middle Tennessee area with the only USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling program.  This trampoline and tumbling program competes locally, regionally and nationally.  We offer all competitive levels to athletes ranging from 3 to 18 years old.  Here at Let It Shine we strive to create athletes that show respect to other competitors, extraordinary focus and dedication to the sport of trampoline and tumbling in a Christ-like manner.





Safety is a major priority when coaching trampoline and tumbling.  We have created a safe environment so that we can progressively teach trampoline and tumbling skills to our athletes.  The team coaches at Let It Shine are all USAG safety certified.


For those who are not familiar with the sport of Trampoline and Tumbling, it consists of four events: power tumbling, trampoline, double-mini trampoline and synchronized trampoline.  This sport allows gymnasts who love to tumble, jump, run, twist and flip to compete without having to do balance beam, bars or pommel horse.


Trampoline is a sport that has been around for many years.  The athletes who compete on trampoline do ten skill routines consisting of jumps, drops, flips, and twists. Trampoline returned to the Olympic Games in 2000!


Synchronized trampoline is for level 9 athletes and higher, it uses the same equipment as individual trampoline competition but two athletes compete on identical trampolines side by side and perform the same routine. 


Power Tumbling is a performed on a rod floor and a landing mat.  This equipment allows the athletes to propel themselves high into the air with speed and skill.  The sport of power tumbling starts with lower level rolls, handstands, and cartwheels and with the higher levels compete explosive somersaults with multiple flipping and twisting skills.  This is a fast and exciting sport to watch.


Double-Mini trampoline is an event that includes a horizontal run with the vertical skills off the trampoline and has a landing mat like power tumbling.  An athlete competing on double-mini will start with a short run and hurdle onto the double-mini and perform two rebounding skills on the apparatus before landing on the mat.
